Sand Inn, our romantic desert camp in Morocco's Sahara desert

Nestled within the RAS EL NKHEL area, this place is unique if you want to discover the desert with family or friends. In fact, it is neither a hotel nor a bivouac. My idea was to create a kind of sand inn. The tents with earth walls are fully insulated against the cold and sand storms. They are fitted with beds with base and mattress and there is a room with 3 showers, 3 toilets and wash basins. The restaurant is also well-insulated, where you can enjoy tagines and Couscous by the camp’s fire, under an amazing night sky. Above all, do not forget to sip a glass of mint tea on the natural terrace under the shade of Tamarisk trees. It’s to die for!

Our inn bivouac is 12 km (7.5 miles) away from M’hamid and, like the men in blue’s bivouac, you can get there either by 4x4 or by dromedary. Now make a short unforgettable dromedary trek in the desert at sunset, like in the Lawrence of Arabia movie.
